Title scene from the game

October 2026 · Goldthread & Pressmark

The game moves.

October's update made the world answer back. Nineteen small reward and touch animations now run in the client: experience that falls into your bar as gold sparks, loot that flies to your bag, and an enchant that holds its breath before the result lands.

DrawthreadKill XP falls into the EXP bar as gold sparks, and the bar catches up with a shine.
ThreadbindingThe enchant stone hops into its slot and glows amber until the result lands, with its own ending for success and failure.
Fate's GraceRevive where you fell: you rise outlined in gold while sparks lift and your HP refills.
Loot GlitterEpic and Legendary drops glitter in their rarity colour until you pick them up.
The HatchingThe egg settles beside you, light cracks across it, and your pet pops out where it stood.
CadenceThe Action button pulses with every confirmed hit: more sparks on a crit, a dip on a miss, a flash on the kill.
The Calling CardParty, trade and guild invites arrive as a slim Codex card, and accepted party frames slide in with sparks.
The KnotReach a Favor milestone in the field and a wreath forms around you while the Opals fly to your bag.
ThumbprintHUD buttons sink on press and spring back; a refused skill greys and dips.

Captured from the current build's renderer with example data; character names are stand-ins. See all nineteen moves on fatemmo.com ↗

At the end of the road

Fate Maker is waiting.

The final world boss rules the Void at level 70: half a billion HP, a seven-tile reach and the strongest drop table in the game. He returns once a day, and it takes a crowd to bring him down.

FateMMO: Awaken

Can't wait for the MMORPG? Awaken is a free, Dragon Quest-style RPG set in the same world. Walk the Whispering Woods and beyond, run into roaming monsters and dragons, and fight them in turn-based battles.

  • Turn-based battles and a chaptered story
  • Roaming monsters, dragons and gear drops
  • Play as a guest, save with a free account
  • No download, on phones and desktops

Awaken is a separate game with its own progression; the native FateMMO MMORPG is still in testing.

Built on Fate Engine

A world on a foundation of its own.

FateMMO runs on Fate, Bezhig's C++23 engine: native OpenGL and Metal clients, an editor and content pipeline, and a 20 Hz authoritative server that owns combat, loot and saves over encrypted UDP. The same engine now powers every Bezhig game.

Before you enter

A few things to know

When can I play FateMMO?

FateMMO is in testing. The iOS build finished internal TestFlight testing in June 2026 and the free external TestFlight waitlist is open, but invitations are not live yet and there is no invitation date. Follow the beta ↗

Which platforms will it support?

iPhone comes first. The engine also builds FateMMO for Android and Windows, and Android packaging is still in development.

Is FateMMO pay to win?

No. FateMMO does not sell combat power, experience boosts or loot-box advantages. Progress comes from playing, grouping, crafting and learning the world.

Is there anything I can play right now?

Yes. FateMMO: Awaken is a separate, free turn-based RPG set in the world of FateMMO that runs in your browser, with its own progression. The public wiki, forums and devlogs are open too.

Who makes FateMMO?

FateMMO is made by Caleb Kious at Bezhig LLC, the independent studio behind Undead Forever. More about Bezhig.
