TWO PAYCHECKS AWAY

I pinch so tight to stretch my wage, gotta decide just what gets paid.

Nice house, two cars and a little dog. Just a thin thread holds on to my job.

Two paychecks away, from a big mess. I’m Two paychecks away, from being homeless.

I give coins to those in need, although at home I’ve got a have a family to feed.

I’ve been pulling money out of thin air, getting pretty crazy, playing musical chairs.

Two paychecks away, from a big mess. I’m Two paychecks away, from being homeless.

It looks like you’re living well. I know you’re faking too, I can tell!

My bank account is empty and my gas tank too.

I’m crossing my fingers cause I’m running on fumes.

Doesn’t really matter that I’ve got no brakes,

gonna make my own luck and a happy twist of fate.

Two paychecks away, from a big mess. I’m Two paychecks away, from being homeless.

Two paychecks away, from a big mess. I’m Two paychecks away.
